The fourth-generation Mazda MX-5, model code ND, is the current generation of the Mazda MX-5 roadster. The car has been manufactured in Mazda's Hiroshima plant since 4 March 2015. Mazda officially unveiled the car on 3 September 2014, in the United States and Spain, and on 4 September 2014, in Japan. It was presented at the 2014 Paris Motor Show in October that year, and at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show in November. The vehicle was released in the third quarter of 2015.
