As of 2025 Q4, 30 HONDA BALLADEs remain registered in the UK — one of the rarest cars in Britain on today's roads. That's down from a peak of 53 in 2014 Q3 — only 57% of the high-water mark, a loss of about 23 cars. Numbers have held broadly steady over recent years rather than falling away — often the mark of a model that owners deliberately preserve. In all, the HONDA BALLADE is rarer than 70% of the 2,408 UK car models we track, putting it firmly in 2025's endangered class.

In Japan, the Ballade was sold exclusively at Honda Verno dealerships alongside the Vigor, Prelude, CR-X, and Quint. In Europe, the first generation Ballade was manufactured under license by British Leyland and sold as the Triumph Acclaim.
